Dan Prestegaard

Chief Information Officer (CIO)

Dan Prestegaard was named Chief Information Officer (CIO) of United Urology Group in October 2020. He is responsible for information technology strategy and all systems required to support the organization’s objectives and goals, including infrastructure, network, web, mobile, and clinical systems. He partners with the management team, the senior physicians of the company, and the board to drive growth through M&A and organic initiatives.

Prior to joining United Urology, Mr. Prestegaard spent the past six years as CIO of Numotion, a high growth private equity-backed healthcare company in the CRT space. As CIO he led the transformation of the IT organization, establishing it as an innovative, well run function that enabled strong growth, and predictable performance with best-in-industry security and compliance. While at Numotion, Dan established the first industry telehealth practice, implemented Salesforce CRM, replaced the company’s order management system, and was the engine behind the corporate-wide push for role-based data analytics.

Prior to Numotion, Mr. Prestegaard spent time in executive positions at Financial Partners Inc. (FPI), strategic outsourcing at IBM, and at United Parcel Service (UPS). Mr. Prestegaard graduated with a bachelor’s degree in marketing management from Siena College, earned his MBA from Columbia University, and holds project management professional certification.
