Damian Sorce, M.D.

Director, Advanced Prostate Cancer, Colorado Urology

Damian Sorce, M.D., serves as the Director of Advanced Prostate Cancer at Colorado Urology, a United Urology Group affiliate.

Dr. Sorce has practiced urology in Denver since 2008. He practices general urology with a focus on prostate cancer, heads the Advanced Prostate Cancer Clinic for Colorado Urology, and specializes in minimally invasive surgery for a variety of urologic cancers. This includes HIFU for localized prostate cancer both as a primary treatment and as salvage therapy after radiation or surgery. He is the Director of the HIFU Center of Colorado Urology and is one of the only physicians to offer this procedure in Colorado and the surrounding area.

After graduating Cum Laude from Amherst College with a BA degree in Biology, Dr. Sorce did biomedical consulting work in Boston and received his Master of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Summa Cum Laude, from Hunter College. He then attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine, graduating Cum Laude, and was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. After completing his general surgery training at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center, Dr. Sorce finished his urology surgery residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. ​
