United Urology Group Hosts 3rd Annual Conference

From September 5–7, United Urology Group proudly hosted its 3rd Annual Conference, bringing together physicians, leaders, and team members from across the country to share ideas, strengthen collaboration, and look toward the future of urologic and oncologic care. The event featured dynamic discussions around innovation, policy, and patient-centered care.

Benjamin H. Lowentritt, MD, FACS, Senior Vice President of Practice Development, shared his enthusiasm for the gathering and the opportunities it created: “As one of the co-hosts, we had a great day talking about strategies for advancing patient outcomes and building stronger practices with our affiliated doctors and attendees,” said Dr. Lowentritt. He noted that the event was far more than just a meeting, serving as a catalyst for collaboration and growth. “It’s a chance to build stronger connections, exchange knowledge, and spark ideas that will shape the next chapter of United Urology Group.”

“We are glad that so many of the affiliate practice and OneOncology colleagues were able to attend, to exchange ideas, and to hear some great talks,” said Geoffrey N. Sklar, MD, FACS, Chief Medical Officer. He added that the conference created a valuable forum for physicians and supporting staff to explore some of the most pressing topics in the field. “From radiopharmaceuticals to the expansion of clinical research within our affiliated practices, and new integrated approaches to GU cancer care, these discussions are helping us shape the future of how our affiliated practices deliver care,” said Dr. Sklar.

“We had a great turnout and are so grateful for everyone who came in from across the country,” said Justin Starzyk, President of United Urology Group. “This year’s conference truly highlighted the strength of bringing medical and business leadership together. When we unite the clinical and operational sides of the organization, we create a strong foundation for long-term success, ensuring physicians have the resources and support they need, while building a sustainable business model that allows our affiliated practices to deliver even greater value to their patients.”
